Thanks to sharp writing, slick design and dark, offbeat humor this video game has become an industry milestone and a universal example of what good game design can achieve. It is a must for anyone looking for a highly polished, offbeat and clever gaming experience.
A third-person shooter set in a Film Noir setting, this excellent sequel has all of the ingredients that made the first Max Payne adventure such a wonderful thrill : colourful characters, moody atmosphere, a great storyline, kick-ass cinematographic gameplay, matrix-like “Bullet Time” slow-motion, interaction with the environment and, of course, lots of guns !

His daily routine is disturbed by the unexpected delivery of The Arbiter, another action figure with more common sense, courtesy and spelling skills than his grammatically-challenged and homophobic roommate. Through these unexpectedly endearing characters, the author spoofs typical abusive and stupid gamer behavior and offers insightful critiques of popular video games.
