Although this is only a small part of their brands catalogue, W.L. Gore & Associates Inc. is principally known as the makers of GORE-TEX®, a sophisticated membrane used to make many consumer products waterproof, windproof and breathable. The GORE BIKE WEAR™ and GORE RUNNING WEAR™ brands were created to demonstrate the suitability of GORE-TEX® fabrics for the sports market. It has been a great success since then, with both brands winning countless clothing design awards. Gore’s FIT team hired Nurun to redesign the GORE BIKE WEAR™ and GORE RUNNING WEAR™ websites to provide a consumer-friendly digital tool to channel their consumer to the product(s) that best fit their needs and to facilitate purchase.
I have had the privilege of being the project manager for these exciting projects in the last several months. We are particularly proud of our horizontal, 2-axis catalog matrix that allow users to browse efficiently the range of products offered on each site.
